To donate to a registered charity that is not on the list, simply provide the name of that
charity, its local address and phone number, and the organization's federal registered charity
number--for both the online (send an e-mail) and paper pledge form (use space provided on the
paper form) options.
Please note: New “donor choice”
charities can be added to the list during Campaign
time at the request of employees only. A minimum
donation of $50 is requested.
Please use the
Federal Charity Listing site
to access/search for
registered charity numbers.
SEARCH HINTS:
- If you don't know the exact name or name format of the charity you are searching for,
enter your city name and province and click "search". This will give you a narrower list to
choose from.
- If you are sending an e-mail with registered charity information to the Community Fund
office, you can simply copy and paste registration number, address information, etc. from
the Federal Charity Site into your e-mail.
