British Columbia
Who
is eligible to apply?
An organization is eligible for funding
if all of the following criteria are
met:

Is registered with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) as a
charitable organization and possesses a
valid registration number
√
Is registered with the BC government as
a charitable organization
√
Has a constitution and bylaws filed
under the Society
Act
√
Has been in operation for a minimum of
one year
√
Has
less than 20% of your budget directed to
administrative costs
√
Is financially stable (no deficits or
large debts)
√
Has a large network of working
volunteers?
Funding
will not be granted for any of the
following purposes:
X If the Community Fund will be the sole
source of funding
X For deficit reduction
X For political activities
X For direct religious activities
X For
daily operational
or administrative costs
