Why Donate Online?


For many years, the Community Fund has used paper forms to collect employee pledges. Now, new technology offers the option of donating online through Employee Self-Service. There are several advantages to using this option:
  • Privacy and information security are enhanced.
  • Paper is conserved.
  • Pledges are received directly and confirmed immediately.
  • Donating online saves time for both donors and Community Fund office staff (who otherwise manually input donor information from a paper pledge form). The process is simple, and routine employee information is automatically inserted into the online form, similar to other Employee Self-Service screens.
  • A pledge can be made online at any point during the year. Employees no longer need to wait for a hardcopy form from their canvasser to make their pledge.
